Thanks. That may be a good option, to keep charging rent and then adjust based on the new cost of bills. Definitely a communication breakdown, he was always on board in buying a house together but maybe it was my fault that I didn’t clearly explain that buying a house together meant splitting the cost evenly. I just assumed (lol yes now I’m an ass) that buying something with someone meant splitting the cost.
Not true, but what does it matter? Maybe he wants to move on and forget, he deleted them for a reason. The private details of his past relationships are irrelevant to your current relationship with him, especially if he never mentions them. It sounds like he wants to be committed to you
