Hi Op. this might stem from some sort of past sexual trauma. However it does seem like the relationship has become incompatible. Also though, you two are young. She could still just be finding herself.
Although I had a similar situation in college. Sex faded and the then gf wanted to stop because she just lost interest in it.. and we did stop for a year and a half. Eventually she started initiating sex again but we broke up soon after. Apparently, per a later conversation, she had lost attraction to me and slowly began to resent me because she felt locked into a relationship. Bringing sex back was her attempt to restart her attraction but it didn’t work. Apparently I put on weight. It happens. The irony is we broke up, I lost 80 pounds and she got married to a guy 150 pounds heavier.
