Well I certainly wouldn’t be moving in with him when he’s so naked to please and you know him so little. He sounds like everything is about him and I’d have no time for that. You are going to spend so much energy on this guy and every day will be exhausting.

So what came first – you telling your husband that you are pregnant, or him volunteering his time?
Because while yes he should have given you a heads up, if he volunteered his time first then sorry but tough.
You said it yourself, you don’t stop the other from doing anything, just normally give a heads up. So if the volunteering came first, you would have said okay anyway.
You won't ever be able to help him with that. That is his own journey he needs to take, the only help you help him with is seeking professional help for it.
That was context. My boyfriend is a very successful guy, very kind and humble, he does not have chronic (key word) self-esteem issues, but what happened with those girls in Sweden awoke or triggered something. He is otherwise very much aware of the qualities he has, his shortcomings as well, but he isn't overly critical of himself…Except lately, over his looks (once again, he looks perfect to me and he is not objectively ugly or anything).
If anything the attention I get makes me feel bad, because, having been through a phase where I lost my hair and my skin complexion wasn't what it's always been for a time, I have seen the other side of the coin and learnt not to put any value in whatever strangers tell me about what I look like…or who I may or may not be, for that matter…Especially on the internet where people tend to get incredibly bold off the high of anonimity.
