What OP is describing is domestic abuse but presented to her as kinky sex so that she has no way of backing down. People who are masochistic enjoy the pain. You're being unfair to your boyfriend and yourself, happiness and emotional well being come from ourselves not your SO, they enhance us not complete us, your asking him to comfort you in the exact way you want to be comforted without asking, when he doesn't do it properly you resent him and resentment in relationships causes us to subconciously lash out at them and then they will resent you back for it.
What you should be doing is talking a professional of some kind a counselor, therapist, psychologist.
