I don't see why he would lie about any of that before we started talking? I saw him with my own two eyes. I know that he lives alone, that part I have proof of. I don't know what you're getting at. When we first started talking this summer, it wasn't with any agenda. We were just opening up about our sufferings.

The stuff about the food etc, that’s lame bro. You are worth more than someone else forcing you to eat or do things a certain way, but instead of letting your wife think you understand her point and choose to agree with her, just tel her this is what you want and get to a fair compromise. Look you can have a wedding, you can not have a wedding, you can elope, you can just sign papers, thats all up to you and your partner. People here are pissed you interpret things that were never directly said and get defensive (and honestly extremely misogynistic) when asked how you concluded all that.
The problem with lack of communication is it could literally be anything. He could be in the hospital, he could be ADD, he could be so caught up in work he doesn't realize that much time has actually passed, he could be thinking he offended you in the last conversation you had and he's waiting for you to reach out to start the next one, he could be thinking the same thing you're thinking “it's been 2 weeks why hasn't she messaged me, does that mean she's not interested?”
I could write “it could be” all night and there's no way to know.
You have to ask him. Nobody on reddit is gonna be able to tell you more than ever-more-creative guesses.
