Down below where you say “if that’s what they wanted, they weren’t clear about it.” YEAH. They weren’t trying to be clear. They were pretending it was 1 thing when it was actually another. So when you and the other husband started acting like “yeah, this is the thing we were asked for,” the cheating couple got all upset bc they thought you two were too timid to participate in exactly the thing they had suggested. So they thought they would get to cheat in front of you two while you watched and did nothing. (And TBH they probably then thought they’d get to do a lot of sexy flirting and innuendo at work without you two there but “it’s not wrong bc our partners know.”) I wouldn’t be surprised if they have sex again without your knowledge now that the seal is broken.

We moved a few hours away so I thought it would improve things. It made them worse.
Every other weekend, we drove to see them for the entire weekend. Every vacation we spent with them. Every night she was on the phone with them. Every decision was run past them.
It sucked. Not as bad as her cheating on me and leaving, and abusing me on the way out… but it would have split us up anyway.
