Talk to him before you go out. Tell him you really like him, but you need time to feel fully comfortable with people and to build trust. So ask him to slow down for you so you can adjust to having him more in your life. See how he responds. Your preferences n speed are just as important as his, so if he treats his as more important or tries to get you to give up yours for his, then he’s not treating you like a partner, but as someone who’s suppose to meet his needs with out him having to reciprocate. That’s a huge red flag.

Haha yeah i know. But i learned to forgive. His brother is still a great guy and I know he didnt mean it. He just thought he could make everyone laugh. But I was the only person paying attention to him bc the others were also drunk and having fun by themselves. (I dont drink so I know what I saw)
You’re actively exposing your kids to someone that you feel the need to check in on and are worried about their drinking?
