Everything about this is a red flag. You haven't been together that long, on-line with him, and sure you were of legal age but 29 and 19 year olds live! totally different lives. I am not surprised to hear he's an asshole as most posts in reddit dealing with age gaps like this, it's usually a similar story. Get out of there. I was once you dating older men and I learned. I have talked to him about it. I have I have I have. That’s exactly what I am trying to figure out. If there is something wrong with the relationship or not or him or maybe me?? I have tried so many times to talk to him about these things, but he blows it off or gives a made up answer. At a point people get tired or trying without results. I am tired and drained from giving giving and giving whilst also taking care of myself and your usual life responsibilities.

First idea : voice this to him , tell him you’re insecure , that even if there’s no reason for you to be insecure , you feel like you need emotional support
Second idea: you don’t seem ready for a relation ship, if all the energy you will have is you being insecure , then maybe you need to learn more about yourself , learn how to love yourself and trust yourself, this is a journey of your own , and having the relation at the same time might be unpractical
Third idea: this age gap isn’t healthy , one way or another , this will create some discourse in the relation ship , men who date younger girls are usually walking red flags, it means they struggle to date women who are their own age, this is not a 100% science , but it’s pretty consistent
