This post reminded me of the one I read yesterday, where a guy's gf tested positive for chlamydia and swore up and down she didn't cheat, blamed him, then blamed wearing the same swimsuit as her sister for the STI, finally claimed the labs must have made a mistake. I remember the top posts discussing how it was technically possible for her to have had it since before the 3 year relationship and it being dormant, all to explain how it might not be cheating. Wonder why is this not a consideration to anyone in this thread.
Yeah fair enough, i'll try to get myself to try and say something, this wouldn't be asking for a date though, it would be asking if she'd want us to date, we've hung out before, and i don't feel like we need like a first date experience due to the stuff we've been through already, like, she told me that one waiter even asked her where her bf was when she went alone to this bar we went to one time.

You can still love somebody and just not be long term compatible. And him giving you the cold shoulder is him protecting both your feelings. Would you prefer him to be just as affectionate as he used to be, give you conflicting signals and hurt your feelings even more?

Everyone's already told you what you should do, you just don't like it. If you actually cared for and respected him, you would leave him or stop cheating (though I think you should leave him the F alone).
I have money saved up but was not willing to move to Midwest long term, we had a plan to meet in the middle that fizzled out because we both have contracted jobs. I know I sound whiney I guess I’m just looking for ways on how to get closure knowing neither of us can sacrifice everything to move to one or the other 🙁

It's only 2 months in, and he's not reliable, whatever the reasons. You're trying to make too many excuses, only 2 months in, for why he isn't reliable? Perhaps cut your losses this early in and move on.

OP knows his wife. I guess what happens when she drinks might enter into this.
