She's adding a whole new job to her work routine once the baby is born. If her husband isn't going to participate equally in the childcare, then is it wrong to expect that he take over some of the chores, especially early on when child rearing is time consuming and labor intensive?
I work and I had a nice, long maternity leave. I was desperate to get back to work because even with chores, working outside of the home is easier when your baby is young.
