As a fellow Asian, and also speaking to his profession in the medical field, I would encourage you to frame it as a necessity for your mental health and ability to set a good example for your kids. I understand that Asians aren’t raised under the idea that hobbies/mental health are priorities, and especially your husband in the medical field is basically asked to sacrifice his own comforts for the family, but you need to be clear with him. Do you want to teach your kids that they need to sacrifice their hobbies to live! a normal life? Also, like another comment suggested, bring up to him the possibility of hiring help. There is no shame in that and it can be good for the kids as well.
If she blocked you, she’s gone: I understand your concern… if you don’t trust her. But that’s the thing; this was a new relationship. Trust has to be there and it’s completely unreasonable for you to expect her to sacrifice her career for a man she met four months ago.
