There's a lot of gross stuff on this sub against men and women. As I said, yes, there are double standards in this sub, including against men, but there is also some very problematic treatment of women in this sub.
And I've been on reddit for 3 years, including as a mod of two subs. Harassment, rape threats, death threats, and stalking of women on reddit are pervasive and I've lost track of the number of times I've seen blatantly violent, threatening comments against women in this sub and others.
In my opinion, problematic behavior exists against both men and women on this site in different ways. Neither of those patterns of behavior should exist, but perhaps that's too much to hope for.
