That’s not really friendship is it. Would any of them want that done to them? Clearly the best friend has to go. It’s quite despicable and she manipulated your other friends too. She is not your friend. That isn’t acceptable behavior. It may be time to start fresh. You don’t have much time for these people anyway. So cut them all off and invest in more rewarding and respectful people. None of them truly acted like a friend to you. Every single one of them knew how grossly inappropriate it was and chose to hide the truth anyway. On your way out the door, remind them how easily they can keep secrets from each other and any of them might be being betrayed right now without their knowledge. Sow the seeds of discontent and move on.
Yea that’s what my issue was, I didn’t want to be pushy because I don’t know if she’s actually serious about it, because if she’s not serious and I’m pushy about it, it seems like I want her to lose weight for me. But if she is serious I’m 100% willing to help her.
Thanks. I think it's less about her patience. If anyone's impatient here, it's probably me. She's generally been great- sweet, kind, thoughtful. The conflict avoidance/reluctance to establish boundaries and lack of time is the sticking point for me.
I think she knows this is an issue, but doesn't necessarily know it's reached the level of “I am thinking about ending this for now” or “I want to date other people” yet.
