Wife here. I can’t say it better than he did.
I’m not denying that her boyfriend sounds like a prick, I’m just saying she loses her ability to complain about unequal circumstances if she refuses to communicate like an adult and say something about it. Even if the boyfriend is actually paying nothing for groceries (which I doubt frankly, I get the sense she ‘covers’ her own food based on the way she worded the post), she’s partially responsible for his obliviousness. In this hypothetical scenario, all she needs to do is tell him to make sure he’s aware, then we can all be up in arms about what a selfish dick her bf is.
