Exes can be friends but they both have to want it, or might need to stay in touch because of shared responsibilities.
None of that seems to apply here! You are no longer a couple. He doesn't get to tell you how to relate to him any more.
My guess is that he'd like to keep you close enough to be a fallback or as a FWB. Or maybe he's just clingy?
I'd nip this in the bud. If he persists with it, you might have to get firm with him.
Put all of her mess to the side and have her deal with it. Just clean up after yourself. Tell her to take the bus or an Uber and don't drive her all around. Stop doing a bunch of stuff for her and tell her she's an adult who needs to act like one. If she keeps freeloaders off of you, you might have to kick her out unless this is how you want your life to be.

I feel like if I can’t give that to him, he might seek it elsewhere. It also makes me feel like I’m not good enough, that I need to give him everything he desires and be good at it. Which I know is just my own insecurities talking but when I tried to explain that to him.. he only said things that made me feel worse. He didn’t console me at all. He just yelled at me that he wasn’t comparing us and that this is my issue not his.
