Sweetie. Internet mom here. First. Good for you for your insight and honesty. You have an issue with anger and you need professional help. I’m guessing you grew up with at least one angry parent. You can’t just wish this away. I am really impressed that you are acknowledging this and want to address it. Anger is so destructive. Find a therapist. We all have stuff.

Out of everything you said, the biggest indicator is lying about being single. He is a liar, that is lying about you and your relationship. Every bit of that explanation is most likely a lie. Once you know your boyfriend is a liar, there is really no coming back from that.
