You are in the wrong. It’s a nice surprise to want to take your girlfriend to the spa but wildly inappropriate to approach her boss about getting her out of work to do it. Just, no. WILDLY INAPPROPRIATE. She may not have been able to articulate what she was feeling, but you trampled all over her agency, her professionalism, and now your gaslighting her by saying YOU’RE wronged and you forgive her – a bit – because maybe she was having a bad day. Please don't underestimate the people who are depressed but working hot continuously to survive. I know some who are severe depression patient since teen, now at the age of 36, bringing home 70K. Please respect them. If possible, put your foot for undiagnosed depression husband.
Yeah this is a red flag— I dated a guy once who wanted to know my credit score immediately. I told him, but I was also car shopping and queries drop the credit score. He was pissed when I mentioned a month later it was lower.
Well, six weeks in, his behavior changed, turns out he was 80k in debt due to back child support with 6 kids between 3 different women. Ditched him.
This behavior is about using people for money. Don’t trust it.
