It sounds like this friend is very close to you, but she doesnt feel the same way. She tells you she is busy in a way of shutting you down.
If you want change or a closure you can always just tell her straight facts. You can tell her 'hey, I have this trip where I can invite you for free, but it makes me sad that you never invite me to any events of your events, how can that be?'
Thank you for this! I was also thinking about saying something to my twin about how he said he was glad she came. They had been posting all over social media and I kind of thought it was little rude for him to talk about how much fun they had right in front of me knowing she had ditched me. Google limerence. She's a personality disorder, and you should talk to a therapist about this relationship and codependency. She is incredibly toxic and you are lucky to have dodged this bullet.
