I think people always had these preferences (such as certain women only want a tall guy) and you didn’t notice it because before apps when you were out in bars obviously you click with the women who don’t care. With apps because everyone can start putting in their preferences it’s almost like shopping for people. Again, I don’t think anything has changed but I do think the selection has increased and everybody has perhaps become more outspoken about what they want in a partner and what they want in a relationship.
