3. I’ve lived my adult life by this general mantra “I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than the things I didn’t do.”

   When I was about your age and just out of college, I elected to move from my hometown in the US to Europe to follow my partner. My family was not happy. Then we moved to TX. Then I moved again and again…26 moves since 2001 within the US, Europe, and Africa for my job or a partner’s job.

   They’re welcome to their concerns but you need to online your life. Let’s say the whole thing goes to shit? So what! It’s just a life lesson then.

   I dunno. I (44F) have had some less than awesome experiences at times but the good tends to outweigh the bad. Like I was beaten and raped multiple times by my then boss while living and working in Mauritius by myself but that’s not what I think of when I think about my time there. Bad things can happen wherever you are. Hell, I lived in Chicago for a bit, shit can happen there too.
