If anything he might “change” logn enough to make you think he changed but he won't. He will only change if he WANTS to change and he would need soem serious therapy.
Break up with him and then stay single for a good long time. Nothing good will come out of rebounding. You need to learn to be on your own and be happy on your own not dive right into some other guys arms because you don't want to be alone.
