I can't believe people are getting mad at the sister telling the boyfriend about the serial cheater and not the person who is a serial cheater. If serial cheating is totally ok then you should be proud to immediately share it with your partner, not feel ashamed and defensive when someone else brings it up.
I will fully admit as an old I have a hot time understanding why people are so fixated by what their partner is or isn’t doing in social media.
My first instinct is to remind her how socials work- people follow someone who follows someone who follows someone to drive up their likes and views. Unless someone is using it to DM and meet people in person it isn’t a big deal. But I’m afraid trying to be rational with someone who is being irrational never works.
I worry that if you give in she will begin this manipulation and control into other areas. Soon she will be obsessing about the story of a follower who shows up in your feed, monitoring who you view and like, then don’t forget that waitress who smiled at you at the restaurant 3 days ago.

You know how terrible of a person your mother is, you know she will never stop acting this way or take account for anything she does, you know she actively wants to demange your relationship with your boyfriend, and you still wants to maintain close contact with her, you are actively choosing this toxic POS person over your boyfriend, and as a smart person he is, he already saw that, he needs to be crazy to marry you knowing you will maintain a relationship with crap of a mother.
